Nikki’s Psychic View

I have the ability to see coming events, though the information is not entirely specific. The closest thing to describing it, is what people commonly refer to as deja vu.

Most of you reading have experienced it at one point or other in your life. Feeling you have been in a situation before, or you know what will happen just before it does, as if you are recalling a memory.
No, I have never predicted any world events, or catastrophes. The things I experience normally are limited to my daily life and the things I go through. This ability is not something I can force, it more or less just happens, things pop into my head that seem placed there rather than thought up.

A quick example is when I was talking with my father and step-mother a couple days ago. They were talking about what they wanted for dinner. To keep the businesses name private, I will call them Joe’s. My step mother said she didn’t feel like cooking, and as I looked toward my father, “JOES” popped into my head. Almost as if my subconscious was screaming at me.
Such things have happened before, so instead of saying anything, I waited for him to speak and see if I was correct. (This conversation took place in a matter of minutes) My father looked up and said, “Well, I’m really feeling Joe’s tonight.”

Whether it is coincidence-which personally, I do not believe in- or something extra I am not sure. I just know that these types of occurrences, and sometimes even more exceptional ones, happen to me frequently.

Thank you for reading!

Déjà vu?

One of the most frustrating things about it all is that I can’t even begin to define what it is I am experiencing. Déjà vu works well enough, but it doesn’t explain it entirely. Not in the slightest. I’ve heard scientist thoughts and determinations about it, mostly being that the experience of déjà vu and the like are not occurrences we truly remember at all. Many scientists have “found” that we produce the feeling of remembering, during certain situations, so we feel as though we have experienced it before, but in reality have not. In a way, they are saying that our physiology is tricking us. But, this doesn’t illuminate what is happening with me, especially considering I could-if I chose at the time- say what was going to happen or what someone was about to say, etc. before they themselves said it. How is this my body tricking me, if I am in fact showing knowledge which I had no way of attaining? The theory itself seems sound enough if you make exceptions for the things which I, and others seem to be able to do. I wish I could tell people why it was happening, what it is, but I simply do not have those answers. Some will say I have an illusion of grandeur, or that I am starved for attention, so I make up these things to make myself seem important in the big scheme of things. You can choose what you want, I am just reiterating my personal stories and thoughts, and as mature individuals you will be able to conclude for yourself what my goal is. I, however, know I am just a spec whirling around. But I can affect other specs, just as others can affect the orbit and motion of those around them. My life singularly is not important, I understand and accept that completely, I just hope my life can positively affect those around me in a way that can create a bigger, better change in the world. That is why I write these. There may be people who see these, and finally feel like others out there experience the same things they do. To help anyone, feel this way, or any other positive emotion, means I have accomplished my goal. I don’t expect to be a savior; I just hope to be an influence. I won’t pretend to be a good role model, or an out-standing citizen, I’m not. I am someone with good intentions and a message to send. I just hope there are people with open minds and receptive hearts who can indulge me.

Everything in it’s Time

Unfortunately, I haven’t had any experiences recently. It’s been a week or so now with nothing. It’s a little disheartening because I look forward to these things happening. Some people would think it is creepy, but I actually love it, so you may understand how disappointing it is when I go awhile without having anything happen.

However, I have a theory. I think that when you want something to happen to much, and try to push it to happen, it actually works opposite. Now, I have a second theory as to why this is. Einstein believed time was circular correct? That we have these experiences because were picking up on things that have already happened in a sense. Well, maybe we pick up on these things because they are at very sensitive wavelength, or… I’m not sure how to word this. Certain people pick up on the residue or the imprint of these overlaps in time, because they are not trying to feel them, or experience them, and they just happen to be more sensitive to things than are others so they subconsciously process this information and “remember” it later. (Which i also believe people can become more sensitive by meditating and opening their minds/hearts to different views, and etc.) I believe that the harder you try to focus on these overlaps, if that it what they are, the more intangible they become, because you are concentrating on something so hard, you tighten up your senses, instead of loosen them, making it harder for you to absorb the information. I may have to revise this, change this completely, or put this into different words at another time if my experiences teach me otherwise, or I find a better description, but as of now I believe this may be why some people cannot experience what-ever phenomenon this is, and why others pick up on it frequently.
This being said, If you want deja’ vu, or clairvoyance, (whatever you would like to call this phenomenon) to happen to you, then try meditation, and try a few exercises to open up your senses and your mind to the world around you which you may or may not be able to see. Don’t try to push something to happen, because with the recent absence of experiences, I have adopted the belief that things will happen in their own time, when you are ready and able to receive the information.
Here are a few things you can try at home which may aid you. These I do personally,so they may or may not work for you. If they do not, then try adding your own twist on these and see if that helps.

  1) Meditate.

This I do personally. There are many different ways to meditate, and different purposes for meditation. But for this the main goal is to focus on one specific thing, without letting your other thoughts get in the way. First, find a room you are comfortable in, which makes you feel relaxed and calm. Turn all electronics OFF, unless you have limited time and are afraid of falling asleep, in which case set an alarm of some kind. Make sure you have at least five to ten minutes to do this exercise. The room should be completely quiet, and you need to ask your room mates or family to not disturb you for however long you plan on doing this. Interruptions will definitely make this harder and much more frustrating than it need be.
Now that you are alone, in a quiet, relaxing room, find a comfortable position. I lay down with my neck and head propped up on a few pillows, but you can do whatever you like as long as you are comfortable. Then, shut your eyes and start taking deep breaths.
These deep breaths should lift your stomach-not your shoulders. As you breathe out each time, imagine your body becoming more and more relaxed. You can do this systematically as well if you feel compelled to (this would be like: Breathe in, Breathe out, relax legs, breathe in, breathe out, relax arms, etc.).
Once your body is relaxed, imagine a shape of your choice (with your eyes shut). For example, imagine a triangle. At first the shape is white… focus on the shape and the color of the shape. Then, once this is strong in your mind, focus on the color of the shape changing. So from white, it turns into green. Now focus on the details of this transition. Did it change all at once? Did it fade into the second color? Once you ponder this, and the shape is the second color, imagine the color reverting back to white, and then back to another color.
If other thoughts start coming up, then slowly push them back out, clear your mind, and go back to the shape. You can do this for however long you like, and can experiment with different images, structures, etc. The point is to focus your mind on one thing, whilst your normal senses are not engaged.
Also, you can look up online other ways of meditating, and different ways of doing this activity. There are many ways of meditating, so find whichever one helps you most.
After you meditate, you should feel relaxed, if you do not try a different way of meditation, such as “active meditation” like stacking stones (it is exactly what it sounds like).

2) Pay attention to nature.

When you are out and about, make a point of looking at things from a different perspective, and inspecting things that occur naturally with a more sincere eye. For example, walking to school or into the house, look at the leaves or the blades of grass. Each individual blade or leaf is different. What sets it apart? What different colors are there on the leaf nearest you? Pick it up, what does it feel like? Try to imagine what it would look like as a color, or imagine what the leaf would sound like if it were a sound. Do this daily, so you can attune yourself with the universe and its many different energies. This will help you be aware of things you look over every day. (This is also something I do)

3) Listen to your gut

Have you ever taken a test, and circled an answer only to erase it, and write something else, then find out your original answer was correct? Sometimes, you just need to trust your gut feeling. Listen to what your body tells you, and how you feel, and what pops into your head while you do your daily routines. If for some reason, one day you go along your natural routine, and you get a distinct feeling or thought that you normally wouldn’t expect, then listen to it, and do as you are guided by this feeling. For instance you ride your bike to work every morning. Then this particular morning, you hop on your bike and you start feeling afraid, then maybe take the car, or a bus, or hitch a ride with a friend instead.
Of course, there are times when your gut is wrong. But that’s because were human and we make mistakes regardless of how in tune we are with ourselves and the world around us.
In my experience though, you should trust your gut regardless, because 9 times out of 10 it will help you out. And by listening to your own feelings, you will start being more aware of the things residing just underneath the surface of your conscious self.

What I think of my ‘ability’

I love that I can do this, however it seems like it will quit for weeks at a time, and then I’ll get one or two “blurps” I will call them. And then back to nothing. In the past few weeks though it has been happening a lot! Probably at least 3 times in the last two weeks. Doesn’t sound like a lot, but to me, it is pretty fascinating! I just hope it keeps on this escalator.

On a different note, I know a lot of people around the world see this clairvoyance, or psychic ability, whatever you may call it, as a gift you are born with. I disagree. I don’t believe it is something, “chosen” people are able to do. I think all people can do it and with practice and recognition of what is happening, can further their experiences with this phenomenon. If you follow Einstein, he believed that time and space was not linear, it flows in a circle, and that being said, if you repeatedly go through a circle, in a straight line, over and over, as time does according to his theories, you will keep passing where you started. Therefor, he believed it was very plausible people were remembering the future, because time and space flows continuously. The harder part, in my opinion, is remembering what we already “know”.
